Under 12 Girls
U12 Camogie – first match v Letterkenny Gaels. Great performances from every girl, we were in the lead for most of the match but Gaels sneaked a goal near the final whistle. Well done everyone

Football
The Four Masters U14 Girls played against their near neighbours  St Nauls in a Challenge game in Tir Conaill Park. The first 10 minutes both teams were sounding each out with scores hard to come by, but soon it became apparent that the Four Masters girls were going to be too strong, as score after score kept going over for the girls in Blue and White, at half time the Four Masters girls were well in front, the opposition did not lie down and tried very hard even though Four Masters took their foot off the pedal a bit with many scoring chances went a begging, but by the end of the game the Score line read Four Masters 3-11 to St Nauls 2-3. So a very convincing win by Four Masters helped by the return of the cup winning county development girl Ellen Canavan, Well played girls keep up the good work.

Subject: DONEGAL FAMILIES WANTED

Hi,

My name is Adam and I’m a producer on RTÉ One television programme. Ireland’s Fittest Family.

Ireland’s Fittest Family is a competition reality show where families from all over the country compete against each other for the chance to win €15,000 and the title of ‘Ireland’s Fittest Family’ all the while being mentored by our panel of respected coaches, Davy Fitzgerald, Derval O’Rourke, Anna Geary and Donncha O’Callaghan.
We are back for our sixth year and are currently looking for families for the brand new series.
We have only ever seen one DONEGAL family take part in Ireland’s Fittest Family and that was the Ryans who came third in the 2016 season of the show. We want to see if there are any more Donegal families out there who would be up for the competition and maybe go further than the Ryans and take the title home.
I was wondering if you could help me get the word out that we’re looking for families through your club and Facebook page. I’ve attached a press release with all of the information you need. We are directing people to visit: rte.ie/irelandsfittestfamily or call 01 531 3865 for more information.
If you require any images for a post, I can provide those too.
Many thanks,
Adam
